Position Description

The 2nd shift Shipping Coordinator is responsible for the coordination of all truck and trailer movement between two warehouses, scheduling of route loading, and inventory in the warehouses.  Must be able to work in a fast paced environment and be able to multitask. 

Primary activities to include:  schedule all route loading, coordinates all truck and trailer movement to ensure all routes are being loaded to the highest efficiency standards, ensures inventories are accurate at all times, and load and unload trailers as needed.

Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years' experience in shipping/warehouse environment required
  • Develop proficiency with warehousing software including handheld computer devices.
  • Self-motivated, dependable individual with a focus on accuracy and accountability.

    Operate in accordance with state, federal and OSHA regulations.

    Strong computer skills

    Strong attention to detail

    Ability to work in a cold environment (34F)

    Excellent written and oral skills are a must

    Multi-tasking abilities

    Excel in a fast-paced environment

    Able to operate electric pallet jack, clamp truck and high reach truck


    Educational Requirements

    High School Diploma or equivalent
