Position Description
Our route sales drivers have responsibility to maintain a level of inventory sufficient to sustain the account's level of business and to maximize return of product, to account for all product sales transactions, and to increase sales by providing service to Oakhurst standards.
As an Oakhurst route sales driver, you will be joining a team of some of the best drivers/salesmen in the state. Our average driver has over 7 years experience because they enjoy the work, the daily interaction with our customers, and the support of co-workers. For those interested, we are looking for people who want to be part of a strong, supportive, and stable environment.
Job Requirements
We need people who have the physical ability to handle delivery of dairy products (lifting cases of milk weighing 55 pounds) and the customer service orientation to effectively represent Oakhurst to store owners or managers. They must be a professional driver who can work at our designated job location.
Prior experience as a driver or "route salesperson" is considered a plus, but not a requirement.
Early Birds are encouraged to apply, as we start early! Drivers shifts begin anywhere from 1:00 am - 4:00 am Mondays through Saturdays. All our drivers receive two days off per week (Sunday and one other).
Educational Requirements
High school diploma required.
