Contributions
Giving back is a tradition at Oakhurst, whether it's our annual financial contributions or the gift of employee time. Over the years, we have developed a strong program of charitable giving to non-profits, first in Greater Portland, then throughout Maine, and now throughout northern New England. Here's an overview of our Charitable Giving program and what we give to the outstanding community organizations we are honored to support.
- United Way of Greater Portland

We are thrilled to have nearly 100% participation in the employee payroll deduction program, enabling us to support the United Way's many Portland area recipient organizations.
- The Iris Network

The Iris Network is Maine's leading independent resource for blind and visually impaired individuals. Oakhurst is a sponsor of the Iris Network's Maine Airs program of news and information for the visually impaired or print disabled.
- Salvation Army

We help people in need across Northern New England by donating five cents from every sale of our Egg Nog and Light Egg Nog to the Salvation Army. The contributions help provide food, clothing and other assistance to individuals across Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire and Vermont.
