Turner Woman Wins Oakhurst Dairy’s “Natural Goodness of Maine” Sweepstakes
PORTLAND, Maine — August 18, 2011 — Turner resident, Linda Castagna, a mother of four adult children and seven grandchildren, recently won Oakhurst Dairy’s “Natural Goodness of Maine” sweepstakes. Castagna received an LL Bean custom adventure get-away package for two that included a one-night stay and dinner at the Harraseeket Inn in Freeport, two LL Bean’s Outdoor Discovery School classes, an LL Bean gift certificate and an Oakhurst goodie bag filled with coupons.
“We had a great time,” said Castagna who moved to Maine seven years ago from New York City and is currently pursuing her Ed Tech III certification from the state of Maine. Castagna continued, “When I moved here, I became a fan of Oakhurst because I liked the fact that their milk did not have artificial growth hormones and was wholesome. Today, our favorite products are cottage cheese, sour cream and milk — all types from skim to Nutrish to 2% for the grandchildren. I’ve even recently started buying Oakhurst Orange Juice.”
